Mariana San Martin Apartment

Academic project developed in the 6th semester for the course 'Interior and Environment Design' by a group of three members. Its goal was to develop an executive design project for a 120 m² apartment, located in the Butantã neighborhood, in the West Zone of São Paulo. The persona chosen for the briefing was visual artist Mariana San Martin. The group got in touch with the artist and created a questionnaire that provided a more precise understanding of the space requirements.

Enjoys the aesthetics of Arab cultures in detail, without visual clutter; essential items when thinking of home: a studio, lots of plants, visual rest, and comfortable spaces to be in; enjoys paintings, sculptures, among other artistic expressions.

The color palette was inspired by the piece 'Cicada' by visual artist Natalia Lubieniecka.

The kitchen was designed to be compact and functional, serving both the interior and exterior areas of the apartment, with generous storage space.
